Maybe everyone says your short story is perfect but you're scared your family is just humoring you? I can help! I offer consultation for authors who need a set of unbiased eyes to help them push through to the next level. I can help in any vein of the creative process. Character development, world building, structuring, and plot development can all be a blind spot in the most amazing of authors. We can bounce ideas around, and I can offer exercises to workshop any number of problem areas. The best part is, what you do with my advice is entirely up to you. If you really like a scene and don't want to change it? Don't! This is your story! I will give you hundreds of notes, and don't expect you to take every one, or any actually. In the end, my goal is for you to be happy with the finished product. Price is per session, but the pre-consultation is free. During this session we will be getting to know each other, and talking the basics of your project. At the end of the first session, you will have a detailed idea of what the consultations will include, I will be able to tell you if I am interested in partnering with you, and give you a quote for your project. That way you are not paying for a service blindly and will have time to decide if it's what you're looking for. Consultations start at $60 each. The consultation sessions can be scheduled bi-weekly, monthly, or customized. The cost includes the 1-2 hour consultation as well as 4 hours minimum devoted solely to your project in preparation for the session.
