I am a native Japanese speaker, also fluent in English and Chinese, with over 10 years’ overseas experience. I have extensive experience of business advisory, project management and market research. In my previous role as a Manager at Mizuho Bank (China) Ltd., I was responsible for whole advisory business which mainly supported the market entry and business expansion of Japanese companies in South China, and worked in close cooperation with Japan Headquarters, China Head Office and Hong Kong Office. I also have worked as a liaison officer to build solid network connections with Guangdong Provincial Government, develop partnerships/relationships with third parties and manage conferences, monthly seminar events and market reports for sponsors. I am a mature communicator with excellent international business sense, and am able to work well under pressure and adhere to strict deadlines. I am confident when handling negotiations that require the reconciliation of different national approaches due to my own background, analytical interests in other cultures and linguistic abilities. My career has led me to specialize increasingly in the management of complex multi-cultural projects which has cultivated my international business sense. In 2014 I moved to the UK with my fiancé and took a professional break from my career to settle down and expand my idiomatic and colloquial English. I am now ready and determined to resume my career and take up new challenges.
