• Verify Patient Insurance by utilizing online electronic claims submission platforms, by telephone, or by visiting the online provider portal of a specific insurance provider.
• Obtain the patient's benefits and eligibility information 
• Verify coverage percentage of desired services and procedures.
• Obtain the annual maximum dollar amount and if any is remaining 
• Calculate an estimate for services and/or procedures the patient desires based on their coverage and benefits level
• Communicated with the patient about their insurance coverage, and answered any questions they may have
• Set patient appointments using OpenDental software and rescheduled appointments as per patient requests
• Proficient in operating Progeny Imaging Software
• Skilled at navigating websites that provide electronic claims form submissions including DentalXChange, DentalHub, and Availity
