  • SPI Installation and configuration (Oracle & SQL).
  • Perform database connections to SPI applications.
  • Domain Initialization and Backup activity / DBA Activities.
  • Setup the project structure - Plant-Area-Unit (PAU) hierarchy.
  • Creating Users, Groups, Department, Plant Hierarchy, Tag Naming Convention, Access Rights Management
  • Develop Reference Cables, device panels, junction boxes and DCS/PLC wiring equipment.
  • Creation of EDE View/ Browser in reference Explorer and assign to domain.
  • Symbol creation and customization of templates for Specification, Wiring, Hook-Up Drawings.
  • Customize, maintain, document, and control the local SPI template
  • Experience modules: Instrument Index, Instrument Specification Sheets, Wiring, and Instrument Loop Diagrams
  • Using Infomaker to customize specification sheets and developing custom reports.
  • Provides efficient data imports through Import Utility and exports
  • Manages As-Built Domains for documentation
  • Maintain Client’s SPI database seed file and contents
  • Acts as SPI Subject Matter Expert
  • Develops training plan for engineers, designers, and technicians as needed.
  • Provides local support associated with updates to SPI software
  • Manages/Coordinates Instrument Indices/user defined fields
  • Manage escalation and resolution of database issues, engaging software vendor as required
  • Provides support for developing custom reports as required.
  • Research, analyze, organize statistics or other technical materials/reports for specific occasions 
  • Manages SmartPlant logons and access rights.
