Able to work independently or with the clients team to develop innovative new products from back of the napkin concepts, through development and into production. This includes concept design, market driven specifications, detailed industrial design, electronics circuit and PCB design, embedded and application firmware, deign for injection molding, then transition to in-house and contract manufacturers. Have reshored products from Asia and, through judicious redesign enabled domestic production at a lower cost. Have analized existing product designs to design out costs for new models. Have extensive mechanical and electrical reverse engineering experience to apply where necessary.
