I am Kenyan. I hold an undergraduate degree in Biochemistry and Molecular Biology from a local university here at home. My professional objectives are envisaged in the five career objectives listed below: ? To work with an institution where I can develop professional skills and utilize them for the benefit of the society. ? To embrace new technologies and new business skills and transform these into constructive tangible projects that are productive, profitable, reproducible and long lasting. ?Use the experience gained in research and profession to identify, discover and develop new ways of doing things that are cheap, efficient and tenable. ? To further my knowledge in Biochemistry, Molecular Biology and Medical research with a view to improving people’s health. ? Use the experience gained in research and profession to identify, discover and develop new drugs for human targets. To meet these objectives I have endeavored to undergo further training, especially in IT and business to align myself better. Thus far I have added the following skills to my profile: Computer literacy; I have done all application packages and computerized accounts (QuickBooks & Sage), computer Graphic design; Adobe Illustrator, Page maker, Corel Draw, Photoshop, MS Publisher. Computer Programming (Pascal, C, C++, Visual basics), knowledge in statistics, Biostatistics and probabilities, entrepreneurship and communication skills. I have worked in an office setting in the education field, financial institutions and property management firm where I have gained hands on experience in office administration. I am currently working as a freelancer. I have gained more research writing skills to add to what I got from the university as a student. My guiding principles as a freelancer are delivery of quality work to the satisfaction of my clients and focus on qualitative not quantitative aspects of work.
