API Integration and Mashups

In the past, I have worked on a number of web applications as well as desktop and mobile applications where I have used many 3rd party APIs and successfully integrated them with the rest of the application to achieve various goals. Below are some examples:- 1. oAuth authentication:- I have used Google, Facebook, Youtube, Twitter, Instagram and Evernote APIs to implement login based upon the user credentials on these sites. 2. Data Consumption:- I have worked on several projects where data was collected from Facebook, Twitter, Instagram and Evernote using their REST APIs. First the application was registered with these sites and a consumer_key and consumer_secret were obtained to ultimately retrieve the access_token required to make API calls to these web applications. I am well aware of the limits a single application can query their APIs within a given time frame and none of my application was blocked for ignoring this except once in case of Evernote which was quickly resolved with them. 3. Finance APIs:- I have extensively used Yahoo Finance APIs for some of the financial applications I have worked upon. I am well verged with the storage techniques required in most prediction based financial applications to store the historical financial data for further analysis. One such example would be an application developed by my [http://predictbinarytrades.com/CurrencyApp] where we generated trading signal alerts for currency pair binary traders using custom algorithms developed by analysing historical currency data and employing various statistical models 4. Webhooks:- I have particular experience with Evernote webhooks which get called whenever a note being edited contains a specific keyword pre-registered with Evernote service. 5. Others:- Other 3rd party APIs include FatSecret APIs, Redbus.in APIs, FlightStats APIs and Dropbox APIs.

Once again, this Freelancer has been a tremendous asset in the development of a very complex finance-based app. After uncovering several changes that needed to be made following the first release, this freelancer worked with me to make the situation right at a very reasonable price and checked to ensure everything worked as required. I was impressed working with this freelancer on the first phase of this project but after his efforts during the last phase, he's demonstrated that he will be my go-to resource for all future projects through his professionalism and dedication to very complex programming tasks. I would HIGHLY RECOMMEND Lokesh to anyone needing complex web/app development work done. Note: I had previously hired this Guru to provide work for my project on eLance. -Robert
