I have been involved in TOP projects in writing that resulted in books being part of the top 10 in GoodReads. Due to NDA forms and copyright agreements, I can't reveal the titles but rest assured, writing and editing are my strengths. I have had extensive experience with creative writing, including working with a top music company (who worked with Sony/Universal and Warner music), interning for a National newspaper, and MAJORED in Literature and Sociology at Monash University (Melbourne). While at the music company, I wrote lyrics, press releases, helped with video/photo edits and composing. I independently started up a social media account last year, and within a year, crossed the 24,500 mark for loyal followers. This speaks to my writing abilities - I am able to write creatively to capture the attention of the audience. People are becoming less attentive these days - it's important to hone one's writing ability to be able to hold the attention of an individual! I got distinctions for most of my units in Lit. I've interned and worked for lifestyle magazines and professional writing companies (interpersonal skills) and even got several job offers internationally but decided to take a gap year instead! I was a music tutor/coordinator for about 8 months which included me having to write many reports and curriculum outlines. While in high school, I was valedictorian and school newspaper editor, so I have experience juggling lots of things under a tight timeline and the editing skill added to my meticulous nature - to make sure none of those nasty grammar mistakes creep in!
