I am a Freelance Frontend Web Developer, based in Madrid, with almost three years of experience in the field.

Even though I am from Madrid, I have lived abroad for more than 8 years, between Bristol and London at the United Kingdom and in Copenhaguen at Denmark. In the UK, I studied my bachelors degree in Arts at the University of London, specializing in Design. Therefore, my professional English is fluent, and I am used to working within diverse teams from all nationalities.

As a developer, I use SASS/SCSS as preprocessor for the styling and Gulp as my preferred bundler for CSS and JS alongside with Rollup. For organising my SASS I use a 7 folders to 1 file structure and BEM naming system. Besides, I create my own custom mixings, placeholders or functions depending on the requirements of the project. I also have experience using CSS frameworks such as Bootstrap or Tailwind. However, I tend not to use them unless it is required by the client.

As a JavaScript developer, I have wide experience manipulating the DOM including events, consuming APIs with Axios or Async functions, etc. I would even be able to build a basic Backend structure with Node using Express, which I have used in many projects to build the Frontend from server-side using HTML templates such as EJS.

For a JavaScript framework, I use React. Although, I still don't have a wide experience. However, I am well confident using all of its tools at a Junior level like components, props, events, states, etc.

When it comes to JavaScript libraries, I have experience with all the most popular in the market such as: Swiper or Splide for carousels, Lightgallery for full-screen galleries of images or videos, Mapbox and Leaflet for maps, GSAP and Three.js for animations, MixItUp for filters, Validation.js for validating forms, etc.

I would also like to emphasise that I am part of a collective of freelancers here in Madrid that we often work together. As part of the team, we have top-notch Web Designers as well as other developers.
