Our Islamic religion is the religion of tolerance, love and peace.  It is a strong belief that includes all social virtues and human beauties, and peace is one of the principles that Islam has deepened its roots in the hearts of Muslims, and has become a part of their being, and it is the goal of Islam on earth.

 Islam and peace come together in providing tranquility and reassurance, and it is not surprising that the word Islam combines the same letters of peace and peace, and this reflects the proportionality of the principle, approach, judgment and subject matter.  Our Holy Prophet, may God’s prayers and peace be upon him, “Peace comes before speech.” The reason for that is that peace is safety, and there is no speech except after safety, and it is one of the names of God.

There is no doubt that the Messenger, may God’s prayers and peace be upon him, came as peace and mercy to humanity and to save it and bring it out of darkness into light so that all people reach the highest levels of human morals in all their dealings in life.

 It is well known that the entire world, especially the Arabs, witnessed many wars at the time of the Prophet’s upbringing and before his mission. The Arab tribes were fighting among themselves or with other tribes, with or without reason. True Islam came to get people out of this bad and difficult life and move them to a place of security, safety and tranquility. And the Messenger, may God’s prayers and peace be upon him, was keen to completely distance people from wars and everything that leads to them, and he, may God’s prayers and peace be upon him, was also always looking for peaceful and calm ways to deal with his opponents.

 Adopting peace does not mean the complete absence of war. Rather, war was established in Sharia to establish peace and protect it from the aggressors against it. God Almighty commanded the believing Muslims to fight in its cause, and God is peace, and commanded them to fight the aggressors and support the aggressors against them, safe and peaceful.

 Peace, in its peaceful sense, is a wish and a sure desire that every person living on this earth desires. Peace includes the affairs of Muslims in all aspects of life and includes individuals, societies, peoples and tribes.
