This position monitors, evaluates and reports on offender activities and behavior and identifies and tracks members of Security Threat Groups (STG) throughout the Department of Corrections. Assists, or under the direction of the Investigations Specialist and supervisor, conducts complex and sensitive investigations into criminal acts and/or violations of Minnesota statutes, federal law and/or institution rules committed by offenders, staff and the public upon institution property. This position has direct offender contact.
