Worked with Standard Chartered Bank in Dhaka, Bangladesh for 34 Years. Retired on 15 June 2014 as Senior Finance Manager. 10 Years worked in Banking operations under various capacity and rest in Finance. Implemented People soft General Ledger in 2006 including automation of Payment Processing and Fixed Asset Register under People soft module. Implemented e-procurement system and Automation of General Ledger Account reconciliation. Implemented Multi currency General Ledget in 1987 when I was working in Operations and Standard Chartered Banking operations was computerized. 3 Years worked as Manager Finance and Administration which covered Corporate Real State Services of Standard Chartered Bank operations in Bangladesh. Major responsibilities in Finance: Group Management Reporting and Local Regulatory Reporting, Budgeting and Strategic planning, Forecast, Cost control and monitoring against budget and forecast, Corporate Taxation , Withholding VAT and Tax collection and timely deposited them in Govt. Treasury. Managed Property Insurance of Standard Chartered Bank Bangladesh. I was the Chairman of Trustee Board of Standard Chartered Employees Gratuity Fund and Provident Fund. Educational Qualification: Post Graduate Degree in Management from Dhaka University in 1978. Attended various training programme both home and abroad.Such as Management Development Programme , Leadership skill development, Training on Operational Risk etc.
