Researching and analyzing complex sales and use tax issues, which includes accurate and timely updating of commodity codes within ERP to ensure proper application of tax on billings.
Properly code and maintain customer tax-exempt status in system including obtaining, imaging and storing sales tax certificates.
Effectively communicating with internal and external customers concerning exemption certificates including corrections for incomplete or incorrect certificates and expired certificates.
Monitoring states and local sales and use tax developments, including understanding how these developments affect the company’s operations.
