US educated Attorney, Accountant & Grant Writer
Born and raised in New York City, I'm a native New Yorker who's first language was Russian. I began my career in the nonprofit sector at age 18 as an Executive Assistant to the Executive Director. Working full time during the day and going to school at night, I graduated from Pace University with a degree in accounting.
Following college, I immediately transitioned into law school - attending Pace Law in White Plains, New York. During that time, I grew from an Executive Assistant to a remote consultant for the nonprofit- having assisted in their expansion efforts, programmatic grants and special events.
During my time in law school and shortly after, I worked as a trusts/estates attorney and matrimonial/family law attorney. After graduating Pace Law, I accepted a position at the same nonprofit as the Director of Strategic Management and Legal Counsel. In that capacity, I handled all legal work, continued with expansion efforts and coordinated all international partnerships.
After two years in that role, I decided it was time to branch out on my own and left the nonprofit industry to continue in the legal sector.
