Our U.S.-based nonprofit needs a back-end app for Apache (or AMP) server on Android for entirely offline use.
Candidate must have significant and demonstrable Android back-end network development skills. This is all back-end work.
No user interface required, except to start and stop the services.
Web server requirements:
- Serves content from a configurable file system folder (not stored in the app)
- Apache-style mod redirects
- Apache-style virtual roots
- Employs Apache's vector rehabilitation schema
- Custom error files in a specific folder
Browser
- Prefer to use Firefox Mobile proxied to the Web server's port
- Security a low-level concern since the system's offline.
Please: no ChatGPT responses.
Also: don't apply if you have a brother who has a friend who saw someone do this. Only apply if you seriously know how this is done. And, no, I don't care if you have a large pool of certified programmers who could probably figure this out.
