We are seeking a detail-oriented and tech-savvy individual to join our team as an API Documentation Specialist. The primary responsibility of this role is to research various point of sale (POS) applications and their programming interfaces, and compile comprehensive API documentation for our system integration needs.
Responsibilities:
Research and identify different POS applications and their programming interfaces.
Locate specific API calls within each POS manufacturer's documentation.
Document these API calls in detail within our system.
Ensure accuracy and completeness of the API documentation to facilitate seamless integration with our system.
Collaborate with our development team to clarify requirements and address any questions.
Requirements:
Proven experience with API documentation and technical writing.
Strong understanding of programming interfaces and POS systems.
Excellent research skills and attention to detail.
Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
Strong communication skills to collaborate with our team.
Preferred Qualifications:
Previous experience with POS systems and related APIs.
Familiarity with technical documentation tools and platforms.
