I am looking to build a standalone application (software) that would integrate with Shopify that would allow customers to purchase "tokens" or "credits" and then use those credits towards various products or services on that webstore. For example, a customer would purchase 100 tokens from the webstore, and then they can use 60 tokens to purchase various products or services on that webstore. That account now has a balance of 40 tokens and they can return later to the webstore and use those remaining 40 tokens for other products or services.
This would be a similar payment model to a site like Upwork. The end customer would purchase credits and then redeem those credits. We are looking for someone to help us build this commercial model into an extendable solution. Is this something you would be able to help with?
We would like to know how you would anticipate building this, the estimated time to develop, and an estimated cost. We would prefer a fixed fee bid if possible.
