1. Project Overview
We are seeking a skilled freelancer or team to develop a comprehensive software solution to automate staff check-in/check-out and emergency muster point tracking at a large accommodation site. The system will replace outdated manual methods, offering real-time status monitoring through a centralized PC-based application with a 65” TV display.
2. Project Scope
2.1 Software Development
- Develop a user-friendly software system for managing 500+ accommodations.
- Assign room numbers (e.g., A105, B210) and associate them with staff via badge-based check-in.
- Display real-time room status using a color-coded interface:
- Green: Checked-in (on-site).
- Red: Checked-out (off-site).
- Yellow: At muster point (emergency).
- Integrate with card readers for check-in/check-out at the housekeeping office and muster point.
2.2 Hardware & System Integration
- Connect the system to a 65” TV for live monitoring.
- Ensure Ethernet communication between PC, controllers, and card readers.
2.3 Features & Reporting
- Real-time tracking of on-site staff for cleaning, security, and meal planning.
- Emergency mode: Muster point check-in updates room status to yellow.
- Automated reporting: Generate daily reports with room numbers, staff names, and check-in/out times.
- Role-based access:
- Site Management: Add/remove staff, assign rooms, view reports.
- Staff: Check-in/out via badge swipe.
3. Technical Requirements
- Platform: Windows-based (or web-based with a local server).
- Scalability: Support 500+ rooms with secure data storage.
- Integration: Work with RFID/magnetic card readers and Ethernet controllers.
- Security: Encrypted data storage with backup and export options.
