Job Summary:
We are seeking an independent Azure Support Engineer (not a consulting firm) for a long-term partnership providing high-touch, first-line support and troubleshooting for a mission-critical B2B eCommerce platform.
This platform serves US-based customers and will expand to the UK in the coming months. You will act as a concierge-level support partner, ensuring system stability, quick issue resolution, and exceptional service availability.
This engagement offers a guaranteed monthly retainer, with the opportunity for additional work at an agreed hourly rate. If you deliver a high level of service, this can become a lucrative, long-term partnership.
Key Responsibilities:
- First-line support & troubleshooting for Azure-based infrastructure and applications
- Proactive issue resolution, including SQL data updates, performance tuning, and Azure service restarts
- Managing and manually executing data sync jobs when requested
- Supporting Power BI reports, identifying and fixing minor data inconsistencies
- Providing direct support to customers and, at times, their customers, requiring excellent communication skills
- Acting as a backup contact when the hiring manager is unavailable
- Maintaining high availability via Teams, WhatsApp, email, and SMS
- Required Skills & Experience:
- Expertise in Microsoft Azure – Data Factory, Logic Apps, Service Bus, Storage, Azure SQL
- Full-stack development mindset – Proficiency in Angular (Front-end) & .NET (Backend)
- Strong SQL skills – Ability to edit and manage data for quick fixes
- Experience with Power BI – Troubleshooting and resolving report failures
- Acumatica ERP knowledge (Highly preferred)
- Excellent communication skills in English – Ability to work directly with customers and their clients
- Ability to work independently and provide concierge-level support
