Seeking a skilled book cover designer for a book that I am finishing. The task involves creating a cover that closely matches a sample design I am posting.
The book is in the philosophical speculation genre. The book goes deep into Western, as opposed to Asian or African, history, philosophy and religion. It is a book for normal people, not academics.
I probably will need some text for the back cover, is that right? Text saying what the book is about and maybe some quotes by people saying it is good? Or is it possible to put in text later? I don't know.
I want the front cover, spine, back cover. It will be a paperback, so I don't think there is an inner sleeve.
The painting on the same is not fixed. I am looking for a classical painting that conveys a sense of timelessness, of history, of romance.... I will go find some paintings to use.
I am looking for someone who has done this many times before, and will not drag it out too long.
