Job Summary:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and highly organized Bookkeeper to manage our day-to-day financial transactions. The ideal candidate will be responsible for recording financial data, reconciling accounts, processing payroll, and ensuring compliance with financial regulations. This role is critical in maintaining the financial health and accuracy of our business operations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Maintain accurate financial records and general ledger accounts.
- Record daily financial transactions, including purchases, expenses, sales, and payments.
- Reconcile bank statements and accounts regularly to ensure accuracy.
- Process payroll, including tax deductions and benefits administration.
- Prepare financial reports, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.
- Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable.
- Implement and maintain bookkeeping best practices and internal controls.
- Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning as needed.
Qualifications & Skills:
- Proven experience as a Bookkeeper, Accountant, or similar role.
- Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Xero, Sage) and Microsoft Excel.
