As a bookkeeper you will act as a point of contact between the different departments and also external parties. You will handle bookkeeping, assist in preparing financial reports and audits, and resolve discrepancies. The candidate should be analytical, collaborative, and trustworthy.
The ideal candidate should understand accounting principles and financial reporting and have a solid experience with the use of various accounting software. The candidate should also be ethical, thorough, and attentive, with excellent verbal and written communication skills.
JOB Responsibilities:
1. Complete data entry and collect transaction details for incoming and outgoing bank accounts.
2. Use bookkeeping software(ZOHO Books or Quickbooks), spreadsheets, and other databases to post up-to-date financial transactions.
3. Generate financial reports, such as balance sheets and income statements.
4. Maintain and monitor financial records for accuracy.
5. Process accounts payable and receivable
6. Verify and fact-check accounting data
7. Reconcile company accounts and resolve discrepancies
8. Process payroll and maintain payroll records
9. Assist with tax payments and returns
JOB Requirements:
1. Proficiency in Zoho Books , QuickBooks or similar accounting software (mandatory)
2. Minimum of 2 years’ experience in a similar role
3. Minimum of BSc in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
4. Must be USA Citizen
5. Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills
6. High level of accuracy and attention to detail
7. Ability to work independently and handle large volumes of data.
