Are you a bold, creative artist looking to collaborate with a lean, ambitious startup as we prepare to launch our offerings, websites, and previews to market? We want to hear from you if you're ready to hit the ground running. But first, check us out—make sure we’re the real deal because we’re building something exciting, and you should be a part of it.
We're not revenue-positive yet, but that’s where you come in. We're seeking a versatile artist—a Swiss army knife of skills—who can handle everything from painting and drawing to UX/UI concepts. You’ll need to love variety, thrive in a fast-paced environment, and know when "good" is good enough. We're not about endless edits, so clear communication and collaboration are key. If you can't communicate effectively and with clarity, this won’t work.
What We Need From You:
- Check out the attached examples of past work. First up, a a group of icons with a backdrop—do you have the talent to create something like this?
- Then, we’ve got a graphic showcasing how our clients share project results. We’re all about storytelling through primary research.
- Lastly, there’s an interface concept. You’ll be tasked with recoloring it and making it interactive for our tools.
If you looked at those and thought, “I can do that,” then we’re already off to a great start.
Questions for You:
1. Are you a solo artist skilled in pixel and vector art who can draw about anything?
2. Do you understand how colors evoke emotion and how they connect to different feelings beyond primary palettes?
3. Are you the kind of artist who feels stifled by rigid clients and loves to push beyond brand guidelines?
The Job:
You’ll work directly with our leadership, receiving instructions on tasks, priorities, and timelines. You'll be expected to report your weekly hours and estimates on project time. We offer 25 hours per week at up to $10/hour, paid weekly through SafePay. Again, we are lean and hope you consider that journey potential along with the immediate pay.
We need someone tenacious—someone who gets into a zone and creates purposefully, understanding that the work will be viewed on everything from mobile screens to large monitors. Your art must be simple, readable, and impactful, with plenty of contrast to stand out across different formats.
What We’re Looking For:
- A conceptual thinker who thrives on new ideas and innovation.
- Someone who asks the right questions, follows through and delivers on time.
- An artist who understands that we’re not just building graphics, we’re building something new—something that adds value in fresh and exciting ways.
We’re a global team, so you’ll collaborate with teammates in Pakistan, Bangladesh, Nigeria, Armenia, India, the UK, and Germany. We’re a pre-revenue startup, so if you want to get in early and grow with us, this is your opportunity.
The work includes web graphics, icons, logos, brochure layouts, and presentation materials for SaaS tools, frameworks, and models. Your graphics will appear in documents, previews, tools, presentation decks, and animations (though you won’t handle the animations themselves, just the sequences).
What You’re Not:
- You’re not an agency or company with a full staff. We want a solo artist, not a team. If your partner in life or work is an artist, they might fit, but this gig is about your skill and vision.
We’re looking for someone who can envision texture, color, contrast, and depth. If you consider yourself a little “weird” (in the best way possible), you’ll fit right in. We love weird. It helps us spot opportunities. Check out one of our sites, getyourweird dot com, where we test ideas before they hit the corporate stage.
Confidence and Swagger Welcome:
We’re bullish on our ideas and have a bit of swagger. If you can bring that confidence into your art—if your designs are clear, concise, and positively impact our brand—you’re exactly who we’re looking for.
Thank you for your interest. Let’s create something amazing together.
