I want to create a new game, both for PC and mobile, as follows:
The user will select two stocks (out of a certain selection of stocks we will offer, say 10 stocks) and will place a 'bet' on which one will perform better until some particular end date, say the end of the month.
'Perform better' means it will appreciate more than its pair within this timeframe, or (if both stocks fall) his pick will fall _less_ than its pair.
The user will bet on a certain percentage (for example he might say 'Stock A will 'perform better' than stock B by 1.75% relative to their prices when the bet was placed'). Then he will be able to be monitoring his score any time by logging in his account, as well as see his rank among the other players, thanks to a leaderboard there. By 'score' I mean how close or far from his original bet of X% he stands currently .
Lastly, he will be able to see how his chosen pair is moving in real time relative to eachother, like the attached jpeg manifests. Hence we will need to link to some real time stock prices provider through an API.
All graphic desing will be provided by us; you only need to implement the programming as well as build a very simple Admin - visible to the administrator only of course - where the users' basic data (name, username/password etc) will be stored.
