About the Role:We are seeking a passionate and knowledgeable Economics Journalist/Researcher/Reporter to join our team and deliver engaging, high-quality online video interviews. The ideal candidate will have a strong academic background in economics or finance, excellent communication skills, and the ability to present complex economic and financial topics in a clear, concise, and engaging manner.

This role involves conducting one-camera video interviews using pre-prepared questions and materials. Text based editing of interviews that takes 2 minutes afterwards. You will be the face of our content, delivering insightful and professional interviews that resonate with our audience.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct online video interviews on economics and finance-related topics using pre-prepared questions and research materials.

  • Present complex economic and financial concepts in an accessible and engaging way for a diverse audience.

  • Ensure high-quality video delivery, including clear audio, professional lighting, and a polished on-camera presence.

  • Collaborate with the content team to ensure alignment with editorial standards and objectives.

  • Stay updated on current economic and financial trends to bring depth and relevance to interviews.

  • Provide occasional input on interview questions and topics based on your expertise.

Requirements:

  • A degree in Economics, Finance, or a closely related field (Master’s degree or higher is a plus).

  • Strong understanding of economic principles, financial markets, and global economic trends.

  • Excellent on-camera presence and communication skills, with the ability to engage viewers and convey information effectively.

  • Experience in journalism, research, or reporting is preferred but not required.

  • Proficiency in using video conferencing tools (e.g., Zoom, Microsoft Teams) and basic video recording equipment.

  • Self-motivated, organized, and able to meet deadlines in a remote work environment.

  • A reliable internet connection and a quiet, professional space for recording interviews.
