I am working on an automated barcode scanning machine and need help setting up stepper motor drivers (DM542E & DM322E) with an Axon AI Edge board. I’ve already connected the hardware, but the motors are not spinning, and I need someone to help me troubleshoot and provide basic working control code.
💡 The Goal:
✅ Get both stepper motors running with correct wiring and power setup
✅ Provide a basic Python script to control motor movement (forward, backward, speed control)
✅ Guide me on GPIO pin configurations & library installation
✅ Debug any issues preventing the motor from running
Required Skills:
🔹 Experience with Stepper Motor Control (DM542E, DM322E)
🔹 Embedded Systems / Microcontroller Programming
🔹 Python (Periphery, GPIO, RPi.GPIO, or equivalent libraries)
🔹 Familiarity with Axon AI Edge or Raspberry Pi-like SBCs
