Job Description:
We are seeking an experienced Flask developer to troubleshoot and resolve a redirection issue in our existing web application. The successful candidate will have a strong background in web development with a focus on Python and Flask, and will be able to ensure users are correctly redirected to the index page after login.
Key Responsibilities:
- Diagnose and resolve the redirection issue occurring after user login in a Flask web application.
- Ensure seamless redirection to the index page for both OAuth and GUI logins.
- Review and update relevant Flask routes and session management to ensure proper handling of redirects.
- Debug and enhance existing code to follow best practices and improve overall application performance.
- Collaborate with our team to understand the existing codebase and workflow.
- Implement logging and error handling to facilitate future troubleshooting.
Required Skills:
- Proficiency in Python and Flask framework.
- Strong understanding of web application routing and session management.
- Experience with OAuth2 authentication and integration in web applications.
- Familiarity with Flask extensions such as Flask-Login and Flask-SQLAlchemy.
- Proficient in front-end technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript) and their integration with Flask.
- Ability to troubleshoot and resolve issues in a timely manner.
- Experience with Nginx configuration is a plus.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- 3+ years of experience in web development using Flask.
- Proven track record of successfully completing similar projects.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work independently.
