Full-Stack Software Engineer
Location: Remote
Primary Working Hours: US East Coast (flexible, we have night owls too)
Hey there!
We're a fast-moving startup in search of a Full-Stack Software Engineer who's excited about shaping the future of both our user interface and backend. If you enjoy crafting elegant UIs in React and have a strong grasp of backend technologies, including RESTful APIs and MongoDB, this is the role for you. In addition to working on front-end features, you'll be implementing server-side logic, managing data flows, and ensuring high performance across the stack.
What You'll Be Working With:
Current Tech Stack:
- Frontend Framework: Next.js (React) with TypeScript
- Chrome Extension: React Vite
- UI Components: ShadCN, RadixUI
- Styling: Tailwind CSS
- Authentication: Clerk
- Backend: Python, FastAPI, MongoDB, Elasticsearch, Valkey (Redis)
What We're Looking For:
- React Enthusiast: You love React hooks and are always finding ways to make components more efficient and user-friendly.
- Backend Know-How: You're experienced with Python, have a strong understanding of RESTful API principles, and are comfortable with MongoDB for data management.
- Pagination & Server-Side Logic Expert: You can set up server-side paginated tables that interface smoothly with APIs to deliver efficient, responsive user experiences.
- Design Realizer: You have a strong intuition for responsive design and love making beautiful designs from Figma come to life.
- Performance Aficionado: You care deeply about optimizing both front and back end and are familiar with metrics like time to interactive.
- Database & API Advocate: You're comfortable managing MongoDB queries, optimizing database interactions, and maintaining high-performance APIs.
- Collaborator: You enjoy collaborating with product and design to build beautiful and performant software.
