I'm looking for a talented game developer to create an engaging online game for the stock market.
The game should be designed for both PC and mobile platforms.
Imagine selecting a pair of stocks, say IBM and Apple, and 'betting' which one of the two will perform better, starting now and until the end of some time period (say the end of the month). 'Perform better' means
- If both advance which one wil ladvance the _most_
- If both retreat, which one will retreat the _least_.
(the other two cases - one advances, the other retreats - are obvious, of course)
This could be depicted graphically as a 'race' (like the one attached, despite its poor graphics...), but we cannot have two 'animals' retreating there of course, and hence we will either use two bubbles in the water moving towards the surface or the bottom, or (much better yet) two deep-sea submarines, each representing one stock of the selected pair, moving up or down (towards the bottom). We will need to 'link' to some real-time stock market quotes provider, in order to derive data from there which will be used to 'move' our submarines 'up or down' in real time as well.
Key requirements: - Proven experience in developing action games - Strong understanding of first-person perspective mechanics - Proficiency in PC and mobile game development - Ability to create an engaging multiplayer experience - An EXCEPTIONALLY GOOD taste in graphic design!!!
I need something like those impressive 3-D online games (in Facebook and elsewhere) not some poor implementation, like the one attached (I only attached this to manifest the 'race' philosophy. The graphics there are very mediocre!)
