Job title: Odoo ERP functional integrator and technical helpdesk

Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Technology Helpdesk and ERP Officer to join our IT team. The ideal candidate will have at least 3 years of functional knowledge of Odoo ERP, strong development skills, and experience working with data import/export. You will be responsible for providing Level 1 support for various technological business IT solutions, managing IT vendor escalations, and performing quality assurance and reporting to management. Additionally, you will be involved in optimizing the use of Odoo by clearing unnecessary data and checking the recycle module for further deletions.
Key Responsibilities:
Odoo ERP Management:
Leverage functional knowledge of Odoo ERP to support business operations.
Develop and customize Odoo modules to meet business requirements.
Manage data import/export processes within Odoo, ensuring data integrity and accuracy.
Perform regular QA checks and generate reports to provide insights to management.
Optimize Odoo's performance by clearing unnecessary data and following up on additional deletions using the recycle module.
Technology Helpdesk Support:
Provide Level 1 assistance for various business IT solutions including VoIP systems, eCommerce platforms, email clients, and other relevant technologies.
Troubleshoot and resolve basic IT issues, escalating more complex problems to senior IT staff or external vendors as needed.
Assist end-users with IT-related queries and ensure timely resolution of support tickets.
IT Vendor Management:
Report and manage IT vendor escalations, ensuring that service levels are met and issues are resolved efficiently.
Maintain clear communication with vendors to track progress and ensure satisfactory outcomes.
General IT Responsibilities:
Monitor and maintain IT infrastructure, ensuring all systems are functioning optimally.
Support the IT team in managing and implementing new technologies and solutions.
Stay updated on the latest technology trends and best practices to improve IT services.
Qualifications:
Minimum of 3 years of functional knowledge and experience with Odoo ERP.
Proficiency in Odoo development, including module customization and data management.
Experience in working with data import/export within ERP systems.
Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to troubleshoot IT issues effectively.
Experience with IT support for business solutions such as VoIP, eCommerce, and email clients.
Ability to manage vendor relationships and escalate issues as needed.
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Preferred Qualifications:
Certifications in Odoo ERP or related fields.
Experience in IT project management.
Familiarity with other ERP systems and business applications.
