Sales & Marketing Customer Relations

Inbound Customer Service Agent (Independent Contractor - Work from Home)

Position Overview:

We are currently seeking US-based, motivated, reliable, and customer-oriented individuals to join our call center team as Customer Service Agents. This is a work-from-home contracting position, meaning you will be working as an independent contractor, not an employee. As a Customer Service Agent, you will play a critical role in delivering outstanding customer service through a call center platform. You will be representing our client's brand and ensuring their customers receive knowledgeable, friendly, and empathetic support.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide exceptional customer service through inbound and outbound calls, emails, and chat support.
  • Listen to customer concerns and resolve issues promptly, with a focus on first-contact resolution.
  • Provide accurate information regarding products, services, or account-related inquiries.
  • Demonstrate empathy and professionalism in all interactions with customers.
  • Maintain high customer satisfaction levels by addressing concerns in a clear and concise manner.
  • Navigate the call center platform to log, track, and resolve customer inquiries.
  • Exhibit strong problem-solving skills and ability to think critically when addressing customer issues.
  • Follow all established policies and procedures to ensure consistent service delivery.
  • Meet all required performance metrics, including quality assurance and customer satisfaction standards.
  • Stay up-to-date on client-specific policies, product updates, and changes to ensure accurate assistance is provided.

Requirements:

  • Must be a US Resident or citizen living in any one of these states:
  • Alabama, Kentucky, North Dakota, Alaska, Louisiana, Ohio, Arizona, Maine, Oklahoma, Arkansas, Michigan, Rhode Island, Delaware, Mississippi, South Carolina, Florida, Missouri, South Dakota, Georgia, Montana, Tennessee, Hawaii, Nebraska, Texas, Idaho, Nevada, Utah, Indiana, New Hampshire, Virginia, Iowa, New Mexico, West Virginia, Kansas, North Carolina, Wyoming.
  • Must have a dedicated and quiet home office setup.
  • Reliable high-speed internet connection and necessary technology to access the call center platform. No Google Voice or similar VoIP allowed
  • A headset and computer with the ability to install client-required software.
  • Background and drug screening required as part of the onboarding process.
  • Pass a series of assessments and successfully complete a virtual certification course based on client requirements.

Experience and Skills:

  • Prior customer service experience preferred.
  • Ability to provide empathetic and patient support to customers.
  • Strong communication skills—clear, articulate, and friendly.
  • Problem-solving mindset with the ability to resolve issues in a timely manner.
  • Comfortable using computer-based systems, and ability to learn new software and tools.
  • Availability:
    • Flexible hours with multiple shifts available.
    • Must be able to commit to a minimum number of hours each week.

Additional Information:

  • Independent Contractor Status: This is an independent contractor position, which means that you will not be an employee of our call center. You will be responsible for managing your own taxes and benefits, and you will work on a contract basis with the ability to set your own schedule within the available shift windows.

  • Training and Certification: As part of your onboarding process, you will be required to complete a virtual certification course and pass a series of assessments specific to the client’s needs. This ensures that you are fully equipped to provide top-notch customer service tailored to the client’s expectations.

  • Compensation:  $7/hour.

  • Please place the US state you reside in and will be working from at the beginning of your bid.

We look forward to hearing from you!
