ISP and Network Engineer

Overview
We are seeking a skilled ISP and Network Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in designing, implementing, and maintaining network infrastructure, with a strong focus on Ubiquiti, Tenda Networks, Cisco, and MikroTik technologies. Additionally, proficiency in ISP billing systems and hotspot management is required.
Key Responsibilities
Network Design and Implementation: Design, deploy, and manage network infrastructure, including routers, switches, firewalls, and wireless access points.
Configuration and Maintenance: Configure and maintain network devices from Ubiquiti, Tenda Networks, Cisco, and MikroTik to ensure optimal performance and security.
ISP Operations: Manage and support ISP operations, including provisioning, monitoring, and troubleshooting internet services.
Billing Systems: Implement and manage ISP billing systems, ensuring accurate and timely billing of services.
Hotspot Management: Set up and maintain hotspot systems, ensuring seamless connectivity and user authentication.
Network Security: Implement and maintain security measures to protect network infrastructure from cyber threats.
Performance Monitoring: Monitor network performance and troubleshoot issues to minimize downtime and ensure high availability.
Documentation: Maintain detailed documentation of network configurations, procedures, and troubleshooting guides.
Customer Support: Provide technical support to customers, resolving network-related issues promptly.
Continuous Improvement: Stay updated with the latest industry trends and technologies to continuously improve network infrastructure and services.
Qualifications
Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
Experience:
Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in network engineering and ISP operations.
Proven experience with Ubiquiti, Tenda Networks, Cisco, and MikroTik devices.
Strong knowledge of ISP billing systems and hotspot management.
Technical Skills:
Proficiency in configuring and managing Ubiquiti UniFi, EdgeMax, and other Ubiquiti products.
Expertise in Tenda Networks configurations and management.
Advanced knowledge of Cisco routing, switching, and security technologies.
Extensive experience with MikroTik RouterOS and related hardware.
Familiarity with network protocols, VLANs, QoS, and VPNs.
Strong understanding of network security principles and practices.
Ability to use network monitoring and management tools effectively.
Certifications (preferred but not required):
Ubiquiti Certified Network Specialist (UCNS) or equivalent
Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA) or higher
MikroTik Certified Network Associate (MTCNA) or higher
