Laser based system consist of one transmission of laser via rotating mirror and pass though a lens and make the laser light parallel and than on other side it is been received via lens and narrow down to spot and been measured by electronic sensor like CCD or photo diode. The ON and OFF time is been converted to Micron of the measurement.
Scanning rate of the laser should be 1200per second to 2400 per second, The accuracy shall be achived as 1micron and range should be 20 mm .
