Job Title:
Lead Developer (Freelance) – Build a Trade Documentation Platform
Job Overview
We’re looking for an experienced Full Stack Lead Developer to build and launch a secure, scalable Trade Documentation System from scratch. The platform digitizes and manages electronic trade documents and integrates with logistics, banking, and compliance systems.
Wireframes are already complete — the application will have users from day one. You’ll lead the technical build with autonomy to outsource UI/UX implementation if needed.
Project Scope
Deliverables:
- Technical architecture and cloud infrastructure setup
- Backend services (Node.js, Python, or Go)
- Secure API integrations (logistics, finance, compliance platforms)
- Non-functioning frontend demo based on existing wireframes
- Full UI integration using React (designs ready)
- Database setup (PostgreSQL or MongoDB)
- Integration of a payment gateway (Stripe, PayPal, or similar)
- Monitoring, logging, and alerting (Datadog, Sentry, etc.)
- Automated CI/CD pipelines
- Final UAT, go-live deployment, and documentation
Timeline
Week 1–2:
- Finalize system architecture
- Set up infrastructure
- Build non-functioning frontend demo using completed wireframes
Week 2–4:
- Develop backend services
- Implement API integrations
- Set up database and core business logic
Week 4–8:
- Integrate frontend with backend
- Implement and test payment gateway
- QA testing, iteration, and refinement
- User Acceptance Testing (UAT)
- Deployment to production
Week 9–12:
- Monitoring, documentation, and handoff
Total Duration: 12 weeks
What We're Looking For
Must-Have Skills:
- Backend: Node.js, Python, or Go

- DevOps: Docker, Kubernetes, CI/CD, Terraform
- APIs: RESTful, GraphQL, WebSockets

Nice-to-Have:
- Experience with trade finance, logistics, or fintech platforms
- Knowledge of blockchain/DLT (e.g., Hyperledger, Ethereum)
