About the Role: I am a commodity broker seeking a Lead Generating Analyst to gather and organize essential data for business insights. This remote, contract-based role requires a detail-oriented individual who can work independently and follow precise instructions. The role involves researching and extracting data from online resources to create detailed reports.
Role Responsibilities:
- Data Research: You will be assigned a specific state and its counties within the United States.
- Primary Source: Use the Environmental Working Group (EWG) (https://farm.ewg.org/) which tracks farmers and farming operations receiving government subsidies, to identify and analyze the top 100 participants in the Direct Payment Program from 1993 to 2023.
- Focus Areas: Prioritize individuals or entities that have received subsidies within the last five years.
- Cross-Referencing: Using the FamilyTreeNow website (https://www.familytreenow.com/) or other lead websites you may be familiar with, gather the following details for each participant:
- First and last name, Landline number, Mobile/alternate mobile numbers, Address, Email address
- Data Entry: Input all collected information into a provided Excel template. Ensure each entry includes a hyperlink linking to the participant’s profile or location details from the EWG website.
I am open to working with sources you may be more familiar with that work better to gather data and information for the specific clientele I am working with.
Requirements
- Proficient in English (both speaking and writing).
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data collection.
- Ability to navigate and utilize websites and online databases.
- Familiarity with Excel for organizing and presenting data in a structured manner.
- Previous experience in data analysis, data entry, or research is a plus.
Contract Details:
This is a remote, contract-based role with flexible hours.
Compensation will be based on deliverables.
