Seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Legal Advisor with expertise in reviewing legal documents, drafting contracts, and a strong understanding of the legal frameworks across the GCC region. The ideal candidate will be fluent in Arabic and English, possess deep knowledge of regional regulatory requirements, and be capable of providing clear, commercially sound legal advice.
Key Responsibilities:
•Review, analyze, and interpret various legal documents including contracts, agreements, MOUs, and NDAs.
•Draft and revise legal documents tailored to the business and regulatory environment of GCC countries.
•Ensure compliance with applicable laws and regulations across GCC jurisdictions (e.g., Oman, UAE, Saudi Arabia, Qatar, etc.).
•Advise on contractual obligations, risks, and mitigation strategies.
•Conduct legal research and provide insights on corporate, commercial, and compliance matters.
•Collaborate with internal teams to support business operations from a legal standpoint.
•Share examples of prior work or redacted reference documents to demonstrate capabilities and drafting style.
Requirements:
•Bachelor’s degree in Law (LLB) or higher; legal certification in GCC jurisdictions is a strong plus.
•5+ years of experience in legal advisory roles, preferably with exposure to the GCC region.
•Native or fluent Arabic speaker with excellent English proficiency (written and spoken).
•Strong understanding of GCC corporate and commercial laws and regulations.
•Demonstrated ability to draft and negotiate a wide range of contracts.
•Strong legal research and analytical skills.
•High attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines.
•Portfolio of redacted legal documents or sample contracts for reference is preferred.
Preferred Qualifications:
•Experience working in or with in-house legal departments or law firms in the GCC.
•Familiarity with industry-specific regulations (e.g., tech, real estate, energy, or finance).
•Knowledge of cross-border contract issues and dispute resolution practices in the region.
