We are seeking a talented Blender 3D artist to create five custom drone show formations for an exciting project. The role involves designing and animating dynamic formations that meet specific technical and creative requirements. You will be responsible for producing five unique drone animations, including three formations with exactly 50 drones and two with 100 drones. Each formation must be at least 30 seconds long, featuring engaging motion and lighting animations—static designs are not acceptable.
The designs must adhere to precise technical specifications, ensuring a minimum drone proximity of 3 meters within a 100-meter scale, and movements cannot exceed 3 meters per second at the same scale. You will work closely with the team to implement pre-defined themes and detailed concepts for each formation, maintaining a balance of creativity and technical accuracy while meeting project deadlines.
Candidates must demonstrate proficiency in Blender, with a strong portfolio showcasing animated 3D designs or visual effects. Experience in motion and lighting animation within 3D environments is essential, as is the ability to follow precise technical requirements. Creativity, attention to detail, and problem-solving skills are key to succeeding in this role. While not required, familiarity with drone choreography or animation for live events is a plus.
