[Job Description]
Proofread the word spelling and X-SAMPA pronunciation transcription of Malayalam Lexicon, correct errors, target accuracy of 98%
Need to pass the pre-job test (with XSAMPA system guidebook).
You can officially join this project once you pass the pre-job test :)
[Job Requirements]
1. Native speaker of Malayalam with standard pronunciation and linguistics-related professional background.
2. Active and conscientious
3. Work remotely, have enough time, and promptly respond to group messages.
[Working hours]
The project has about 5000 words, which will be split into multiple tasks. You have 3 work days for each task/revision.
The whole job is expected to complete in two months.
[Payment]
$40 per 1000 words. Payments will be made monthly based on the amount of words that pass Quality Assessment (At least 1000 words for the first payroll). QA will be conducted by reviewing 2% of random sampling of each submitted task. No extra will be paid for rework if the submitted task does not pass the QA. Rework can't exceed a maximum of two times.
