Project Description:
We are looking for an experienced developer or development company to create a fully functional mobile marketplace app, entirely in Spanish, initially targeting one Central American country, with plans to expand to others.
Key Features:
Cross-platform: Android and iOS.
Complete Marketplace Functionality: The app will allow users to buy and sell products, rent and sell real estate, offer services, and post job opportunities.
Geolocation: Crucial for showing nearby listings and matching users based on their location.
Optional Facial Verification: Users will have the option to verify their account through a facial recognition system. Just like a banking app, the verification will be done exclusively through the app’s camera—users will not be able to upload photos manually. The process will capture front and side views of the user’s face. This information will be securely stored and may be shared with local authorities in case of legal issues involving an account.
User Experience & Graphics: The developer will be responsible for designing the complete UI/UX and all visual assets of the app. The design must follow a style that is simple, clean, modern, and visually engaging—similar to Duolingo.
Graphics Ownership: While we will provide a flowchart and vision as a reference, the full visual design and layout must be created by the developer/team.
Back-end Infrastructure: The app should run on Amazon Web Services (AWS) or a similar cloud service to ensure high availability, scalability, and security.
GitHub Integration: The developer must use GitHub for version control and collaboration, and provide regular progress updates.
Documentation: Full technical documentation is required, including the app’s structure, API endpoints, deployment process, and maintenance notes.
Ownership & Management: Once the development is complete, the app will be fully managed by our internal team. We are only looking for development and delivery, not long-term management or support.
App Style & Functionality Reference: The app will be a combination of platforms like OfferUp, Craigslist, Trulia, and Facebook Marketplace — offering a wide range of categories, ease of use, and strong community-based functionality.
