I'm looking for a designer who can create a logo to be used on business cards, stationery, a door hanger, and our website. Perhaps one day, it could go on a t-shirt, baseball cap, or mug. My company is new -- not even off the ground yet -- and it's designed to care for families, pets, and homes. Specifically, the services offered include dog walking, pet sitting, and pet boarding; child care and tutoring; companionship and home health care for seniors; errand running and transportation; and light cooking, housekeeping, and house sitting.
We have experimented with a couple of logos on VistaPrint so far -- one that came up on the site showing a dog and a cat (I'll try to include a copy on a possible business card that I created), but the problem with that is that it reflects only one part of the business -- the pet portion, not the part related to the kids, seniors or house.
Then a VistaPrint tried using an illustration of reaching hands that I sent to her. It looks good, I think, and quickly communicates the idea of caregiving for PEOPLE but doesn't portray the pet part of the business or the house part.
My question: Is there a log that could capture the different aspects of our business without looking too busy or too much of a hodgepodge? Something perhaps with a house, a dog (or dog on a leash), a kid and a senior? Would something like that be feasible? Must the logo have all the figures in one grouping, or could the figures be in two groupings? Just trying to imagine the possibilities.
I'm also interested in a design for a door hanger. I have photos that could be used of me with a dog, and I may be able to take a selfie of myself with one of my senior clients.
