Job Overview
We are seeking a highly motivated and skilled On-Call IT Technician to join our dynamic team. This position operates on an on-call basis, with job assignments dispatched as they are queued in our system. Key Responsibilities
- Respond to on-call assignments for on-site or mobile computer repair services.
- Perform hardware and software troubleshooting, including component replacements such as screens, batteries, and motherboards.
- Provide IT support for small to medium-sized businesses, including network design, system upgrades, and maintenance.
- Conduct cybersecurity tasks such as penetration testing, virus removal, and firewall configuration.
- Recover lost or corrupted data and implement secure backup solutions.
- Assist with custom PC builds and cloud migration services.
- Deliver exceptional customer service by communicating clearly and ensuring client satisfaction.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in computer repair, IT support, or a related field.
- Strong knowledge of hardware diagnostics, software troubleshooting, and network setups.
- Familiarity with cybersecurity practices, including penetration testing and malware removal, is a plus.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- Ability to work independently and adapt to an on-call work environment.
