I’m looking for an experienced sound engineer to optimize my podcast and video recording setup for high-quality, professional audio. The goal is to eliminate technical issues, improve sound clarity, and ensure seamless integration of OBS Studio, Voicemeeter Banana, and my microphone/interface setup.
I need someone who can troubleshoot, configure, and optimize the entire signal flow for real-time recording, where:
My mic is routed properly through Voicemeeter for a clean sound
Pre-recorded audio (Beth’s lines) is played live but only monitored in my headphones (not picked up by the mic)
OBS correctly records separate audio tracks for post-editing flexibility
The setup is plug-and-play for future recordings without requiring constant adjustments
Scope of Work:
✔ Assess & Optimize Audio Routing
Ensure Voicemeeter is configured for zero audio bleed or interference
Set up correct virtual inputs & outputs so my mic and pre-recorded audio are perfectly isolated
Adjust gains, EQ, noise gating, and compression for a professional sound
✔ Integrate OBS Studio & Audio Setup
Properly configure OBS to capture clean audio from Voicemeeter
Set up multi-track recording for better post-production control
Resolve any latency or sync issues between audio and video
✔ Test & Troubleshoot Setup Issues
Conduct a full test recording and refine settings for optimal sound
Provide a step-by-step guide so I can replicate the settings easily
Recommend any additional gear or software tweaks if necessary
