We seek an exceptional PHP WordPress Developer with expertise in Elementor Pro customizations, JavaScript, and database management. The ideal candidate must have experience working on custom-built WordPress websites, particularly those with advanced navigation and database-driven features. This position is for a skilled professional who can tackle immediate tasks and demonstrate their capabilities through a test project, with potential for long-term collaboration as we expand our portfolio of websites.
Primary Responsibilities
- Modify and maintain WordPress wonderofweird.com pages developed using Elementor Pro with additional PHP and JavaScript enhancements for sixty days.
- Implement a custom contact form where the completed form, upon submission, is sent as an image with the input data to a specified inbox. Implement a profile form that allows for outbound notification of new relevant content.
- Modify hero graphics on specified pages, ensuring seamless integration with the current design.
- Create a MySQL database to profile and manage content assets within the Viewpoints page, articles/illustrations, and coloring contests, allowing easy addition, recall, and monitoring of hierarchical structures.
- Develop and document processes to ensure the website is scalable and maintainable for future enhancements.
- Work closely with the team to ensure alignment with design, functionality, and performance requirements.
- Provide progress updates and troubleshooting assistance as needed.
Skills and Expertise Required
- Advanced PHP and custom WordPress development, including Elementor Pro customization.
- Proficiency in JavaScript, HTML5, and CSS3.
- Experience with MySQL and database-driven WordPress websites.
- Knowledge of API integration and managing third-party plugins.
- Understanding of responsive design principles and cross-browser compatibility.
- Ability to troubleshoot and optimize performance issues.
Test Project Scope
- Create a wonder of a weird website per wireframe and overview.
- Integrate contact form and profile form into SuiteCRM.
- Provide ongoing web administration assistance on this site for 60 days.
