Cloud BI Data Solutions is seeking an experienced Power BI Lead Developer to play a key role in the migration of the company’s reporting platform, with a focus on back-end systems and data infrastructure.
This role will ensure the smooth integration and processing of large-scale data, develop robust data pipelines, and create scalable data products to support various applications across the company.

Key Responsibilities:
- Collaboration: Partner with stakeholders to understand reporting needs, identify data opportunities, and develop custom dashboard solutions.
- Platform Migration: Lead the transition from SSRS to Power BI, ensuring data integrity and smooth user adoption.
- Dashboard Development: Design and maintain interactive dashboards for data-driven decision-making across departments.
- Data Analysis & Reporting: Analyze complex data, providing clear recommendations for improving processes and performance.
- Team Leadership: Manage and mentor a small team of BI professionals to deliver high-quality reports.
- System Optimization: Continuously optimize BI tools to meet evolving business needs.
- Strategic Insights: Partner with leadership to support business decisions through performance insights.
- Problem-Solving: Use advanced analytics to identify trends and solve complex data issues.
- Innovation & Collaboration: Work with Data and IT teams to implement new technologies and improve data engineering processes.
Additional Responsibilities:
- Data Pipeline Development: Build and maintain scalable data pipelines to support business tools.
- Data Products: Develop reliable data products for business applications.
- Semantic Models & KPIs: Create and maintain standardized KPIs and a semantic model aligned with business goals.
- Data Integration: Ensure seamless integration of data from various sources for comprehensive analysis.
Requirements:
- 3+ years of experience in a similar role
- Experience with Reporting Services (SSRS)
- Experience working with Power BI
- Microsoft Certified: Power BI Data Analyst Associate (PL-300)
- Business-level English proficiency
- Proven experience supporting data transformation projects, ideally migrating from legacy systems to modern BI tools such as Power BI
- Experience handling and analyzing structured and unstructured data using SQL (any dialect)
- Knowledge of ETL/ELT processes, data modeling, and reporting
- Advanced proficiency in MS Excel
- Experience working with data stakeholders and effectively addressing their needs
- Passion for data and a strong drive for decision-making through numbers
Nice to Have:
- Experience with Microsoft SQL Server SSIS, and the MS Azure environment (Databricks, Synapse, etc.)
