I am looking for an expert knowledgeable in PowerPoint VBA and custom ribbon creation, using my own icons as buttons (as opposed to being limited by the icons provided by MS).
I have about 70 PowerPoint VBA macros that I wrote and use regularly which I have added to a custom Ribbon. 3 aspects of this has always annoyed me, (1) I can't use my own icons (2) I can't designate which button is big and which is small (3) I can't load this pptm file as an automatic add-in when starting PowerPoint. About (3), so what I do is I just have the file with the VBA macros open all the time.
A long time ago, (1) and (2) could be done with CustomUI Editor (I did this once, but I remember zero now). I vaguely remember that XML editing is involved.
Anyway, It seems CustomUI Editor no longer works with Windows 11.
So, I would like to hire an expert to fix these issues, once and for all.
Here are my wishes for this assignment:
① Please teach me, step by step, how to do the above (1), (2) and (3). I understand that there is editing of XML involved.
② In teaching me these steps, please be prepared to write lines of code and make a few files, so that you can give them to me and I can study them as examples. I will of course pay for the time that you spend doing this.
③ As appropriate and as possible, let us please talk via video conference. While emails are fine, I wish to have conversations with you so that I can ask on the spot questions. I am in Seoul, Korea. I work a lot of hours, so wherever you are on Earth, I'm sure I can find times for calls. I lived in US/UK for a few years when I was young so I have no problem with English.
I have attached a screenshot of my custom PowerPoint ribbon, for your information.
I would like to start right away.
