We are looking for a skilled and experienced Contracted Accountant to join our team at Zolas Cafe. This position is remote and involves handling monthly reconciliation, profit and loss statements, and tax filing for our restaurant.
**Responsibilities:**
- Perform monthly reconciliation of financial accounts
- Prepare profit and loss statements
- Handle payroll processing and related tax filings
- Ensure compliance with all accounting and tax regulations
- Assist with budgeting and forecasting
- Provide financial analysis and insights to improve decision-making
**Requirements:**
- Proven experience as an Accountant or in a similar role
- Knowledge of accounting principles and practices
- Experience with restaurant accounting is a plus
- Proficiency in accounting software and MS Excel
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Relevant certification (e.g., CPA) is a plus
