I'm looking for someone that has some experience with running profitable ad campaigns that can help with growing a new business.
The CPC for search ads is much too high for the niche I’m in, crazy high actually. For certain keywords directly related to my niche, we’re looking at $50-$100 for just one click! Insanity!
So, alternatively, I want to run display ads on websites that are related to what we offer.
What do we offer? I’ll tell you in our interview. First though, read on…
I understand that search ad campaigns are generally more effective, because the ad is fulfilling the search intent, aka pull marketing.
But when the cost of the click becomes too high, we must look at alternative, less expensive options to get our message into the eyes of our target audience.
Instead, we can run display ads that cost a fraction of the search ads, but get hundreds to a thousand clicks for the same price of a single clicked on search ad.
I want to get it dialed in so that we bring in 1 client per day. More on that in the interview.
I believe, with your help, we can run profitable and ongoing ad campaigns, attract people that will want our offer and have a successful business.
Can you work on and maintain my ad campaigns?

- Can you and have you ran display ads?
- What kinds of ongoing optimizations do you look for within the ad campaign?
- Can you show past successes (please elaborate / explain them)?
- Can you create the display ads graphics? <- Important
- If you can’t create the graphics be used to run the ad campaigns, it’s unlikely I’ll hire you.
- Look for opportunities of places to run new ads, discuss with me & act on them
- Communicate with me daily about their status
- Be able to setup and run retargeting campaigns

This job will start at $5/hour and will increase with successful profitable campaigns.
Your mission is to run profitable ads. If this effort doesn't profit, it doesn't make sense to run the ads, and I'll shut the entire idea down entirely. It is your responsibility to run a profitable campaign.
Suggestions on how to make more compelling offers and / or increase our conversion rate is encouraged.
I'm hoping we can start the ad spend by spending something like $20/day to figure out what works and increase as we go, eventually getting to a spend of $100 per day.
We are literally starting at ground zero. I have a proof of concept, but we need to find out as quickly as possible whether or not this is an idea worth pursing further or not.
