Job Overview

We are looking for an experienced Senior Technical Content Writer with 7 to 10+ years of experience to join our team. The ideal candidate should have expertise in technical writing, SEO best practices, and UI/UX content development while working on US-based products. This role requires strong English communication skills and an understanding of the software development lifecycle (SDLC).

Key Responsibilities
✅ Technical Documentation: Write clear, concise, and detailed technical documentation, including API guides, product manuals, and how-to guides for both technical and non-technical audiences.✅ UI/UX Content Development: Create user-friendly interface text, tooltips, error messages, and in-app instructions that improve product usability.✅ SEO Optimization: Implement on-page SEO strategies to enhance search visibility and user engagement.✅ Content Strategy: Develop and manage a content strategy aligned with the product roadmap.✅ Content Management: Maintain a well-organized and updated repository of technical documentation.✅ Cross-functional Collaboration: Work closely with product managers, developers, designers, and QA teams to gather and verify technical information.✅ Style Guide Development: Establish and maintain content style guides for consistent technical communication.✅ User Research & Testing: Analyze user feedback and conduct usability testing to improve documentation effectiveness.✅ Localization Support: Prepare content for global audiences when necessary.
Requirements & Qualifications

📌 Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, Technical Communication, English, or a related field.📌 7 to 10+ years of technical writing experience, preferably in the IT/software industry.📌 Strong portfolio demonstrating technical writing for US-based products.📌 Excellent English writing, editing, and proofreading skills.📌 Experience with SEO best practices and on-page optimization.📌 Proficiency in technical documentation tools & CMS.📌 Familiarity with software development lifecycle (SDLC) & agile methodologies.📌 Experience working with IT teams, developers, and engineers.
Preferred Skills (Bonus Points!)

➕ Experience with markup languages (HTML, XML, Markdown).➕ Knowledge of information architecture principles.➕ Understanding of UX writing best practices.➕ Familiarity with developer tools, APIs, and programming concepts.➕ Experience with documentation automation tools.➕ Certification in technical writing or content strategy.
