We are seeking a highly skilled Shopify expert to join our team and help elevate our online store to the next level. As a business specializing in costume vintage jewelry, we need a professional who understands the unique demands of our niche and can create a seamless shopping experience for our customers.
Responsibilities:
- Customize and optimize our existing Shopify store to enhance user experience and drive sales.
- Implement and configure apps that improve store functionality (e.g., inventory management, SEO, marketing tools).
- Develop custom Shopify themes or modify existing themes to align with our brand’s aesthetic.
- Ensure responsive design and cross-platform compatibility for all customizations.
- Optimize the store for speed and performance.
- Integrate third-party tools and plugins as needed.
- Provide ongoing support and troubleshooting for any Shopify-related issues.
- Collaborate with our team to develop and execute e-commerce strategies.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a Shopify developer, with a portfolio of successful Shopify stores.
- Strong knowledge of HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and Liquid (Shopify's templating language). not mandatory
- Experience with Shopify's APIs and app integrations. not mandatory
- Familiarity with SEO best practices and tools.
- Ability to create custom Shopify themes and modify existing ones.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Strong communication skills and ability to work independently or as part of a team.
- Previous experience in the e-commerce or costume vintage jewelry industry is a plus but not required.
Project Scope:
This is a part-time, freelance position with the potential for ongoing work. We are looking for someone who can start immediately and deliver high-quality results within agreed timelines.
