iOS app that allows a user, group, organization, etc to create an event like a pot luck dinner or a volunteer event or an athletic event. Then the user, group, or organization can invite people to sign up for the event.

Signup.com is mainly desktop and is very old and cluttered. I want to make the modern version of this for mobile that is much cleaner and easier to use.
